Kyrgyzstan has denied the presence of any US military base in the country.

Addressing a press conference in Bishkek, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov said that although, there is a Russian base in Kant city that is sufficient. However, we reject the idea of any American military base in the country.

He said that our defence agreement with the United States for the establishment of military base near Bishkek has ended years ago.
