Russia has accused the NATO of gradually amassing forces near its borders.

In a statement, Russian Defence Minister Sergey Shoygu said NATO is unwilling to discuss European security with Moscow on equal terms.

He expressed regret that the Nato is calling upon Russia for military deterance despite of mounting pressure on Russia's borders.
