An event in connection with Christmas was organized at Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation Islamabad on Tuesday.

Members of the Christian community and staffers of Radio Pakistan attended the event.

Director General Radio Pakistan Samina Waqar addressing the ceremony, said every religion teaches love, tolerance and harmony.

She said intolerance in the world can be effectively addressed by spreading love and affection.

Criticizing intolerance under Modi government, the Director General PBC said every citizen including Muslims in India should have equal rights.

Speaking on the occasion, Christian community representative Pastor Abid Paulus prayed for the Kashmiri brethren who have been suffering from Indian oppression in occupied Kashmir.
