The nation will celebrate the 146th birthday of Father of the Nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on Saturday, with renewed commitment to work hard for progress and prosperity of the country.

The national flag will be hoisted at all public and private buildings.

Qur'an Khawani will be held at the Quaid's mausoleum in Karachi.

A change of guard ceremony will also be held at Mazar-e-Quaid in Karachi.             

A number of events, including seminars, debates and exhibitions, will be held both at official and civil society levels to highlight life, achievements and different aspects of the personality of the Quaid-e-Azam.  

Radio Pakistan will also broadcast special programmes, discussions, interviews and reports to highlight different phases of independence struggle and the leadership role of the Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
