Minister for Communications Murad Saeed says the government will soon start construction of new motorways and highways across the country.

Addressing an event “successful completion of recent accomplishments”, in Islamabad, he said work would be started on Dir-Swat, D.I.Khan-Peshawar and Hyderabad-Sukkur Motorways by April this year.

The Minister said the important motorway project of Sialkot-Kharian and Kharian-Rawalpindi would be started in before June in the current fiscal year.

He said work would also be started on Balkasar-Mianwali and Muzafargarh- DG Khan roads.

Murad Saeed said the PTI government will construct more roads with its own resources during its tenure, as compared to the previous governments.
