Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi says Pakistani diplomats would not participate in the ceremonies of India's Republic Day.

Talking to newsmen in Multan, he said India is heading towards a Hindutva state and it can no more present its so-called secular face to the world.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said Kashmiris in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and minorities in India are not safe.

Responding to a query regarding the new US administration and Afghan peace process, he said Pakistan and the United States have same policy on Afghanistan, as both countries want peace there.

The Foreign Minister said Pakistan believes that there is no military solution of Afghanistan issue. He said Pakistan in its meetings with different US delegations has always supported dialogue process for restoration of peace in Afghanistan.
