The United Nations has warned against growing risk of famine in Gaza.

In a statement, the UN Relief and Works Agency said it desperately needs resources as nearly all two point two million inhabitants of the territory are facing crisis or worse levels of hunger.  

It said seven hundred thousand people are facing starvation and death every moment if Israel continues to prevent entry of food and medical supplies.
