Seventeen people were martyred and sixty injured in two bomb blasts at CTD Police Station in Kabal area of district Swat.

According to Rescue 1122, the rescue and search operation is still underway in the police station to recover people stuck under the debris.

Several seriously injured whose bodies are badly burned in blasts are shifted to Burn Center Peshawar for medical treatment.  

Meanwhile, Namaz e janaza of nine martyred police personnel has been offered at Police lines in Kabal, Swat.

The dead bodies of the martyred personnel have been shifted to Swat, Malakand, Buner Shangla and Chitral for burial.

The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has constituted a two-member committee consisting of DIG special branch Saqib Ismail Memon and Home Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Abid Majeed to probe into the incident.
