Rallies held in twin cities to express solidarity with armed forces

The nation, on the eve of Yaum-e-Takreem-e-Shuhada-e-Pakistan, has paid rich tributes to the martyrs of Pakistan who rendered ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty for ensuring integrity, sovereignty and honour of the nation and motherland.

In this regard, two separate rallies were organized in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad to express solidarity with armed forces on the occasion of Yaum-e-Takreem-e-Shuhada-e-Pakistan.

A large number of people participated in these rallies, holding national flags and portraits of martyrs. They were also chanting slogans in favour of the armed forces.

The rally in Rawalpindi was  taken out under the patronage of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz. Leaders and workers of the PML-N, along with people from all walks of live, joined the rally to express solidarity with the armed forces of Pakistan.

The participants condemned the incidents of violence and desecration of martyrs' memorials on 9th May.

In Punjab, rallies to express solidarity with Armed Forces of Pakistan were held in different cities.  People chanted slogans in favour of Pakistan Army saying "Long live the Pakistan Army" and also shown intense anger against the miscreants.

Various events and rallies were also held to appreciate and recognize the sacrifices rendered by the Armed forces.

In this regard, the patriotic people of Punjab organized events and sent messages in favor of the Pakistan Army.

They said we will make every sacrifice for the security of Pakistan as Pakistan is our red line.

The participants reiterated and ensured that the sacrifices of the martyrs of the Pakistan Army would not be tarnished in any way.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also echoed with the slogans of Pakistan Army Zindabad and intense anger against political miscreants.

Rallies and other events were held in Karak, Swabi, Charsaddah, Mansehra, Haripur, Swat, Mardan, Kohat and other cities to express solidarity with Pakistan Army.

The people took out to the streets in protest and expressed their anger over the disgrace and disrespect of martyrs and the burning of military installations.

In this connection, the Leeds Foundation School of Charsadda also echoed with the slogans of Pakistan Army Zindabad.

The speakers exhorted the school children and said that raising slogans against the Pakistan Army and violation of the sanctity of the martyrs of Pakistan is actually tantamount to treason against the country.

In connection with the Day, rallies and other events were held in favor of Pakistan armed forces in different districts of  Balochistan as well including Awaran, Othal, Naushki, Kohlu, Dera Murad Jamali, Jafarabad, Osta Muhammad and Naseerabad.

Various sections of the society paid tribute to the martyrs and raised slogans in favor of the Pakistan Army.

Like rest of the country, Pakistani community living abroad also observed Yaum-e Takreem Shuhada-e Pakistan in a befitting manner.

In this connection, a seminar was organized in Damascuss, Syria in which glowing tributes was paid to martyrs.

Similarly, a seminar was also held in Istanbul, Turkiye to pay homage to Shuhada.

A large number of Pakistanis living in Istanbul along with local journalists, traders, business personalities, students and religious scholars attended the event.

They chanted slogans in favour of Pakistan Army and expressed the resolve to play a proactive role alongside Armed Forces of the Pakistan for development and prosperity of Pakistan.
