Gilgit-Baltistan Disaster Management Authority, in collaboration with all relevant departments and volunteers, is distributing relief items to rain and flood-affected people at various locations across all districts, including Gilgit, Diamer, Ghizer and Skardu.

Radio Pakistan’s Gilgit correspondent reports that necessary measures are also being taken to restore the damaged infrastructure.

An alternative route has been established at Ansar Camp Bridge in Skardu.

According to GBDMA, water flow near Haramush Power House on the Jaglot-Skardu Road is obstructing vehicular traffic.
