The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has launched a massive vaccination campaign to control the outbreak of Lumpy Skin disease in animals in tribal districts of the province.
A spokesman of Livestock and Dairy Department Dr. Inam told Radio Pakistan Peshawar correspondent Falak Niaz that fifty-six teams are presently working in merged districts on mass vaccination of animals.
He said so far more than two-million animals have been vaccinated in these areas.
The government has also released sufficient funds for the procurement of vaccines to further avert the Lumpy Skin disease in animals.
