Twenty-three people were killed while several others injured when a coaster coming from Hawaili Kahuta to Rawalpindi fell into a ditch near Azad Pattan in district Plandri today.  

President Asif Ali Zardari has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives in the Azad Pattan bus accident near Kahuta.                  

In his statement, he extended condolences to the bereaved families of those who died in the accident.

The President prayed for high ranks of the deceased and patience to their families.   

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of lives in a bus accident near Azad Pattan.

In a statement, he prayed for the high ranks of the departed souls and patience for their families.

The Prime Minister directed the authorities concerned to provide immediate medical aid to the injured.  

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Engineer Amir Muqam have expressed deep grief over the loss of precious lives in bus accident near Azad Pattan.   

In their separate statements, they prayed for high ranks of the departed souls and extended condolences to the bereaved families.

The Interior Minister also expressed grief and sorrow over death of Zaireen in bus accident on Makran coastal highway.
