Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has emphasized the government’s continued focus on strengthening institutions, improving the business environment and advancing reforms aimed at supporting sustainable economic growth and investor confidence.

He was talking to German Ambassador to Pakistan, Ina Lepel who called on him in Islamabad today.

The Finance Minister highlighted Pakistan’s recent macroeconomic progress, including stronger foreign exchange buffers and continued efforts to maintain fiscal discipline.

He highlighted the government’s focus on sustaining macroeconomic stability, advancing structural reforms and creating a more conducive environment for investment and business activity.

The German Ambassador appreciated the government’s ongoing efforts towards economic stabilization and structural reforms.

She reaffirmed Germany’s continued interest in strengthening bilateral economic and business relations with Pakistan. She also expressed support for sustained engagement and greater collaboration between German companies and their Pakistani counterparts.
