Ipsos Survey: Confidence in country’s economic situation increases

The ratio of Pakistani people, expressing confidence in the country’s general and current economic situation, has risen once again after several years of decline.

According to 4th Quarter Report of ‘Consumer Confidence Survey 2023’ conducted between October 31 and November 3 by Ipsos Pakistan, which is a multinational market research and consulting firm, the rate of those, who declared the direction as correct, has surged by 10 percent.

Similarly, the percentage of Pakistanis who consider the country’s economy as weak, witnessed a significant decrease of 16 percent, while the ratio of Pakistanis, holding a moderate position on the state of the economy increased by 13 percent to 35 percent in the survey.

Moreover, the ratio of pessimistic Pakistanis with the country’s economy also decreased by 25 percent, while the rate of those hoping for improvement in the economy has been increased to 33 percent after a significant increase of 23 percent.

Furthermore, the rate of those with a moderate position has increased to 26 percent.
