Pakistan Ambassador to Belgium, Luxembourg and the European Union, Zaheer A Janjua has invited the world to visit Pakistan to see its rich culture, diverse traditions, and remains of the ancient civilization.
He was talking to a delegation of international artists from the project “Terre d’Origine” (Earth of Origin) in Brussels on Wednesday.
The Ambassador briefed the delegation about historic importance of archaeological site of Bhir Mound, which is one of oldest remains of ancient Taxila from the period 800-525 BC and is listed on UNESCO World Heritage Site.
He also presented an earth sample from Bhir Mound to the delegation, which would be featured in the project Terre d’Origine, in which 173 countries from all over the world will participate.
The delegation thanked the Ambassador for presenting the earth sample from Bhir Mound and participation in the project.
