Special Representative for Religious Harmony Maulana Tahir Ashrafi has underlined the need for addressing the issue of sectarian violence.

Addressing a seminar in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said all segments of the society including the religious scholars and the media will have to play its part in this regard.

The Special Representative said the government is bringing reforms to decide cases within nine months. He said the people should support government's efforts aimed at making Pakistan on the pattern of State of Madina.
