Brig. (R) Haris Nawaz (Defense Analyst):Terror outfits in Afghanistan have gained arms and ammunition in bulk quantity left over by the US and NATO forces. It is dire need of the hour that the US should collaborate with Pakistan to take that arms and ammunition back from terrorist outfits. Pakistan has suffered a lot due to international war on terrorism and rendered unmatchable sacrifices in this campaign on terrorism. This is time that Pakistan and the US should talk to Afghan government to get support in this regard. China can also play a major role in this regard. We have to play our cards tactic fully in this situation to get rid of menace of terrorism. The US embassy in Kabul should demand of the Afghan government to ensure the collect NATO forces’ left over arms and ammunition from Afghan nationals and then submit to American forces.
