A Youth and Media Workshop was organized at Rawalakot in Azad Kashmir.

Young male and female students, journalists, and social personalities participated in the workshop.

The aim of the workshop was to apprise participants of important topics such as Fifth Generation Warfare, the positive and negative impacts of social media and disinformation and misinformation.

The speakers expressed concern over the growing trend of fake news on social media, saying that hostile forces are creating mistrust among the public by spreading sensational and misleading information.

They said social media is being used as a weapon in Fifth Generation Warfare to undermine the national narrative.

The speakers also emphasized that the people, especially the youth, should research and verify any news before sharing it. 

The participants thanked the Pakistan Army and the Government of Azad Kashmir for organizing this informative session.
