Election Commission of Pakistan has declared null and void the intra party polls of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).

A five member bench of the commission headed by Chief Election Commissioner Sardar Muhammad Raza Khan gave its short judgment in a petition filed by Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and Kanwar Naveed Jameel.

The Commission also removed name of Farooq Sattar from the convenership of MQM-Pakistan.
