Minister for Finance and Revenue Muhammad Aurangzeb has expressed the hope that Pakistan can issue yuan-denominated "panda bonds" this year to further integrate its capital markets with China's.
In an interview with China Daily, he said Pakistan can learn from China's experience to enhance financial inclusion through digital solutions.
Describing Pakistan and China as ironclad friends and strategic partners, the Minister expressed gratitude for China's steadfast support.
He highlighted broader bilateral cooperation between China and Pakistan in agriculture, drone technology, and other key sectors alongwith financial technology.
Mentioning China's role in driving global growth alongside its own economy, Muhammad Aurangzeb lauded China's unwavering commitment to openness and multilateralism.
