'Pakistan Mining Investment Forum' is scheduled to be held in Islamabad on 8th and 9th of next month.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar chaired a preparatory meeting in Islamabad on Wednesday to review preparations for the event.
A detailed briefing was given about the Forum's objectives, scope, program, and other logistical arrangements.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister expressed hope that the event would reshape Pakistan's mining sector, foster foreign collaboration, and strengthen international partnerships.
He assured Ministry of Foreign Affairs' full support to Petroleum Ministry and other stakeholders to ensure success of the event.
Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik, Special Secretary Ministry of Interior, Chairman CDA, and other officials attended the meeting.
