In wake of Covid-19 pandemic, working hours of the Federal Government have been reduced to five hours a day

According to a notification of the Establishment Division issued today (Monday), offices working five days a week will follow 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. timings from Monday to Thursday. Offices working six days a week will also observe the same timings including Saturday.   On Friday, all offices will work from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The notification states that the new office timings shall come into force with immediate effect and shall continue till further orders.
