Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq held a meeting with Secretary General (SG) of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Stephen Twigg in London.

During the meeting, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq reiterated that as one of the founding members, Pakistan fully subscribes to the fundamental values of the Commonwealth.

He said that Commonwealth has immense potential to enhance its relevance in the current geopolitical and economic scenarios for the welfare of citizens of member countries.

Secretary General, CPA appreciated the role of Pakistan in carrying forward the development agenda of the Commonwealth as an important partner.
