Caretaker Federal Minister for Information Barrister Ali Zafar has said that there is no chance of delay in the general elections. Talking to newsmen in Lahore today, he said that holding of free and fair elections is the prime responsibility of the interim government.
He said that general elections in FATA will be held within one year and steps are being taken to implement FATA Reforms.
Barrister Ali Zafar said caretaker government is taking measures for giving right to vote to overseas Pakistanis.
To a question, he said that water shortage is a global issue and Pakistan also faced the challenge due to lack of dams.
He said that there is need to remove the obstacles causing the delay in the construction of new dams.
Information Minister said that the Chairman WAPDA also briefed him on this issue and construction of new water reservoirs is the need of hour.
Earlier the Minister visited WAPDA House in Lahore today.
