Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has emphasized the need to ensure speedy, transparent and due relief to taxpayers through the timely disposal of complaints, improved systems and closer coordination with the FBR and other relevant departments.

He was talking to Federal Tax Ombudsman Zafar ul Haq Hijazi, who called on him in Islamabad today.

The Deputy Prime Minister underscored the importance of implementing recommendations to strengthen grievance redressal and improve tax administration.

On the occasion, the Federal Tax Ombudsman briefed the Deputy Prime Minister on the ongoing reforms and the initiatives undertaken to facilitate taxpayers and enhance institutional efficiency.
