An Indian Air Force pilot has been killed in a MiG-21 fighter aircraft crash in Rajasthan state.

The Indian Air Force in a statement said, the aircraft crashed during a training sortie in the western sector.

Local media reports said that five MiG-21 aircrafts have crashed this year, in which three pilots were killed.
