In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has said that the BJP-led Hindutva Indian government is trying to mislead the international community through its false narrative that the situation in the occupied territory is normal.
According to Kashmir Media Service, All Parties Hurriyat Conference spokesperson Abdul Rashid Minhas said in a statement in Srinagar that India is distorting the truth and facts to promote its baseless narrative.
He said that the ground situation in Jammu and Kashmir belies the false Indian narrative that the situation in the occupied territory is normal and the Indian claim that the situation is peaceful is nothing but a big joke.
The spokesperson urged the United Nations to take notice of the ongoing Indian crackdowns in the occupied territory and play its role in resolving the Kashmir dispute in accordance with its relevant resolutions.
Meanwhile, Indian forces are continuing their violent cordon and search operations in various areas of Kishtwar, Poonch, Rajouri, Udhampur, Kupwara, Baramulla, Bandipora and other districts.
Indian forces enter houses and severely harass residents, including women and children, and vandalize household items. Occupied troops force people to stay outside their homes for hours in the cold.
The sole purpose of these brutal actions by Indian forces is to punish Kashmiris for challenging the illegal Indian occupation.
