President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have expressed sorrow over the death of five people and injuries to several others in LPG bowser explosion in Multan.

In their separate statements, they commiserated with the bereaved families and prayed for the departed souls.

The Prime Minister has directed to investigate the cause of the explosion.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has also expressed deep sorrow and grief on loss of precious lives in the explosion.

The Chief Minister directed the provision of the best medical care to the injured and implementation of the SOPs for the use of LPG.
