A delegation of the World Bank, led by Vice President for South Asia Martin Raiser, called on the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur in Islamabad.

The meeting focused on various ongoing public welfare projects supported by the Bank in multiple sectors.

The meeting was told that work is in progress on various World Bank assisted projects costing 1.9 billion dollars.

The meeting discussed the implementation of the Chashma Right Bank Lift Canal and the Peshawar-Dera Ismail Khan Motorway projects and the World Bank team expressed interest in collaborating on the CRBC project.
