Palestinian and Israeli officials have pledged to de-escalate surging violence after talks posted by Jordan in the Red Sea resort of Aqaba.
In a joint statement after the meeting, Israel agreed to stop the authorisation of illegal settlement outposts in the occupied West Bank for six months.
The meeting was also attended by senior U.S., Jordanian and Egyptian officials.
The Israeli and Palestinian sides affirmed their commitment to abide by previous agreements.
They also agreed to meet again next month in Sharm el-Sheikh in Egypt.
