The Economic Coordination Committee of Cabinet has decided not to increase price of Remdesivir injection for the treatment of Covid-19.              

The decision was made at a meeting of the Committee chaired by Minister for Finance and Revenue Ishaq Dar in Islamabad on Monday.

The ECC deferred summary of Ministry of National Health Services for increase in prices of 119 drugs.

The Committee also approved arrangement of Finance Facility for funding Balochistan's share of obligation in Reko-Diq project dispute settlement and directed the Finance Division to arrange payment of markup for the period between March 31 to December 30 last year for short term finance facility of 65 billion rupees.
