The meeting of the Provincial Cabinet, chaired by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz was held in Lahore today.
The meeting approved the establishment of Special Investigation Units for sex crimes.
The meeting gave approval in principle for establishment of airports at Bhakkar and Bahwalnagar.
The Provincial Cabinet also approved Punjab Legal Aid Rules to ensure free legal assistance for poor people.
The Cabinet approved free travel for special persons, senior citizens and students in the province.
Speaking at the meeting, Maryam Nawaz directed to ensure recovery of the fine and the traffic challans and asked to adopt zero tolerance policy in this regard.
The Chief Minister said that citizens have given positive responses on the Nigehbaan Ramadan Package, under which over two point five million deserving families got Ramadan cheques.
She said that Ration Cards will be given to one point five million deserving families.
She also directed to control prices of daily use items on Eid ul Fitr.
