President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have condemned the explosion near a police mobile in Quetta.

In their separate statements today, they expressed deep grief over the loss of precious lives in the explosion.

They prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the deceased and the swift recovery of the injured.

The President said such heinous acts during the holy month of Ramadan reflect the nefarious designs of terrorists.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif directed the provision of the best medical facilities to the injured. He also ordered an immediate investigation into the incident and emphasized determining responsibility to ensure the culprits are held accountable.

Shehbaz Sharif remarked that elements spreading unrest in Balochistan are enemies of its development. He asserted that the foes of the country will not succeed in their nefarious designs.

The Prime Minister vowed to continue the fight against terrorism until it is completely eradicated from the country.
