In Rawalpindi, action continues against violation of the code of conduct issued by the Election Commission of Pakistan.

Assistant Commissioner Saddar area Tasneem Ali Khan with the help of District Council staff and police removed oversized hoardings and billboards from Soan Bridge to Mandra Toll Plaze on G.T. Road.

Moreover, illegal boards were removed on High Court Road, Car Chowk, Bostan Road and Adyala Road.

The candidates for election 2018 have been directed to follow the code of conduct and display pamphlets, posters and banners according to size prescribed by the ECP.
