
Qaiser Ahmad Sheikh (Federal Minister): The government presented an export led budget in very difficult conditions as because has reduced tax rates on a number of things and sectors. Our export and imports will increase in result of peace deal between US and Iran. Our expats are sending good tune of remittances which is on the increase for last several years. Now Pakistan has gained economic stability so government is focusing on boosting export and foreign investments. Our revenue targets were high but we collected revenue higher than previous years. We have further increased our revenue targets for next years. Common man and SMEs must be provided with all facilities and they must be provided with bank loans. Tax rates on SMEs must be reduced which is very high for promotion of cottage industry and small businesses.
