Amb. A M Shahid (Former Diplomat):Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) is core unresolved dispute between Pakistan and India. Therefore, Indian defence minister’s provocative statement is highly condemnable. This is why; Foreign Office has condemned in the strongest possible terms the highly provocative and irresponsible comments by the Indian Defence Minister in the context of Jammu and Kashmir dispute. Now Indian sane people have started raising issue of Muslims’ plight in IIOJK and even in New Delhi. Actually, Indian Defence Minister is trying to divert the international attention from grave human rights’ situation in the IIOJK. In this context, our defence minister Khawaja Asif has rightly responded to Indian defemce minister’s statement. Khajawa Asif has rightly said that such irresponsible and irrational statements reflect a continued attempt to distort internationally recognised legal realities through political rhetoric and coercive posturing. He said these neither alter the status of the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir nor contribute to regional peace, stability or meaningful dialogue.  India has been committing barbarity in IIOJK over   seven decades. Cockroach Janta Party has also referred to atrocities in IIOJK and regretted for being silent over injustices in IIOJK. There are several UNSC resolutions on Kashmir dispute which demand resolution of Kashmir issue as per aspirations of Kashmisis.  Indian defence minister must not issue irrational statements. IIOJK will win freedom from India soon. Indians are habitual of issues rubbish statements. Indians can’t dare to go for another misadventure against Pakistan because defeat in Marka e Haq has intensified Indian internal issues.
