The United Nations has categorically affirmed that Jammu and Kashmir remains an internationally recognized dispute which should be resolved amicably in accordance with the relevant Security Council resolutions.     

This was stated by UN Spokesperson Stephane Dujarric while responding to questions at his regular news briefing in New York. 

He said the United Nations' position on Jammu and Kashmir as a disputed territory remains unchanged.
