Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney says his country's relationship with the United States has changed due to US President Donald Trump's announcement to impose tariffs, jeopardising future cooperation.

Speaking to reporters in Ottawa after a cabinet meeting, he said Canada would respond with retaliatory tariffs that will have maximum impact on the US.
