Prime Minister's Special Assistant for Foreign Affairs Syed Tariq Fatemi has emphasized the need to increase US investment in Pakistan's textile industry, infrastructure and the development of human resource.
In his speech at the renowned US think tank, Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington DC, he reaffirming the longstanding historical relationship between Pakistan and the United States. He encouraged the US investors to visit Pakistan and take advantage of the available investment opportunities.
He urged the United States to assist in education, healthcare and economic development, so that bilateral cooperation could be transformed into a long-term partnership of mutual benefit.
Tariq Fatemi discussed Pakistan's efforts against terrorism, border control and its commitment to ensuring a stable environment for investors. He assured that despite challenges, Pakistan remains a promising and profitable destination for foreign investment.
The Special Assistant reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to a peaceful South Asia.
