Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has stressed the need to avoid politics of confrontation and ensure continuity of policies for sustainable development.

Speaking to the media in Shakargarh, he said after successes in defence and diplomacy, Pakistan must now focus on achieving economic progress.

He said inflation has dropped from 38 percent to around 6-7 percent under the current government's policies.
