Kashmir Day observed

Kashmir Day was observed on Friday to express solidarity with the oppressed people of Indian-occupied Kashmir. 

The day is aimed at exposing the Indian blatant human rights violations in the occupied Valley and draw the world attention to the plight of Kashmiri people.

Like other parts of the country, Kashmir Day was observed today in Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar and Rahim Yar Khan districts of Bahawalpur Division to express solidarity with the oppressed people of Indian Held Kashmir.

A number of rallies were taken out in Bahawalpur to express solidarity with the Kashmiris and to condemn the Indian atrocities and grave human right violations in Indian Occupied Kashmir.

Addressing a large rally, speakers said India is committing grave human right violations in Occupied Kashmir.  They demanded of international institutions to take notice of Indian atrocities in the Valley.

They said India has imposed indefinite curfew in Occupied Kashmir. They demanded of  people have no access to daily food items, medicines due to which life has become highly miserable in the Valley.

While acknowledging the efforts of Prime Minister Imran Khan, speakers said  he  is the ambassador of Kashmiris and is raising their voice at every forum of world.

Speakers said that Kashmir is the lifeline of Pakistan and entire Pakistani nation stands by Kashmiris.

They said the present  government is highlighting Indian brutalities on unarmed Kashmiris in a befitting manner and is unveiling India’s brutal face in front of entire world.

 Participants were carrying banners inscribed with slogans in support of Kashmiri people and chanted anti-Indian slogans.

In connection with Kashmir Day, large and small rallies were also taken out in district Bahawalnagar and district Rahim Yar Khan to express solidarity with Kashmiris. 

Rallies were taken out in support of Kashmiris against Indian atrocities against innocent Kashmiris in different districts of Sindh Province including Hyderabad, Nawabshah, Badin, Jamshoro and Tharparkar today.

Political and religious parties, citizens and members of civil society participated in the rallies and expressed their solidarity with Kashmiri brethren.

They were carrying placards and banners and chanted slogans against Indian atrocities on the Kashmiri brethren.

A rally was taken out in Ghalanai, the headquarters of Mohmand district today to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people.
