In Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan, Special Communication Organization is taking important steps to empower youth through Information Technology.

Under its Soft Action Plan, Special Communication Organization established Technology Parks and 37 Freelancing Hubs during one year.

Twelve software technology parks have been established at district level in major cities of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.

These measures have resulted not only in reduction of poverty, but also empowered the youth of the area in achieving  self reliance and economic liberty.

The establishment of SCO is aimed at promoting skills and transforming the youth for playing positive role in their communities and the national economy.
