In Afghanistan, armed resistance continues to intensify with Taliban regime facing pressure on multiple fronts.

Clashes between the Afghan Taliban and the Afghanistan Freedom Front have intensified in Nuristan and Kunar, further deteriorating the security situation. 

According to Afghanistan Freedom Front, attacks by armed groups in the provinces of Nuristan and Kunar left five Taliban fighters dead and ten others wounded. Several Taliban regime checkpoints were also captured.
