(R) Said Nazir (Defence Analyst):Factually, terrorism is imposed on Pakistan by Indian RAW and Israeli Mossad while Afghan Taliban regime is acting like a proxy of India and Israel against Pakistan. Our brave security forces are rendering enormous sacrifices for the sake of peace and security of the nation. In the wake of disturbance on borders, security forces are supposed to take swift and accurate action against terrorists. More so over, political leadership is duty bound to uphold sacrifices rendered by security forces because terrorists and terrorism pose existential threat to Pakistan. Unfortunately, narrative hyped by Khyber Pukhtunkhwa government is being supported and propagated by India, Afghanistan and other hostile agencies towards Pakistan. Moreover, handlers of this narrative are based in India and Afghanistan. It is a matter of fact that despite political differences, war on terrorism is war of every Pakistani and every stakeholder. Since war on terrorism is imposed on Pakistan so every Pakistani is supposed to fight this war with national zeal and fervor.  Therefore, sacrifices rendered by the security forces are required to be upheld. Similarly, welfare and security of the families which have rendered these sacrifices is responsibility of the government. Public security related obligations and duties of the federal and provincial governments are enshrined in the constitution of Pakistan and constitution is above all the federating units. Moreover, we have world’s number one professional security forces to counter the menace of terrorism. Now entire nation is rendering sacrifices against the terrorism. Pakistani security forces are guarding the sovereignty, honour and security of Pakistan. There are constitutional platforms available to lodge complaint against the poor performance of provincial government in the war on terrorism.

Dr. Zahid Anwar Khan (IR Expert): Menace of terrorism is hurting every Pakistani everywhere from Torkham to Karachi. People and government have consensus that terrorism should be eradicated; however strong coordination between the federal and provincial governments is vital for this purpose. Factually, this region is facing terrorism for several decades; therefore, Pakistan needs to root out terrorism in coordination with neighbouring countries. Khyber Pukhtunkhwa province and police have rendered enormous sacrifices in the war on terrorism. There must be no impression that provincial and central governments are not on same page on the issue of war on terror. Several mafias are using umbrella of terrorism; however, both federal government is fully cognizant of activities of these mafias. I think that there must be utmost transparency in the use of public development funds in Khyber Pukhtunkhwa provinces.

Dr. Muhammad Khan (IR Expert):As a matter of fact, it is very unfortunate that menace of terrorism in ending and provincial government of Khyber Pukhtunkhwa is not fulfilling its obligations towards controlling over the terrorism. This is why; the federal government is not satisfied with the performance of provincial government of Khyber Pukhtunkhwa in the war on terror.
