Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman inaugurated the first phase of the project of Central Jail Gilgit in Minawar on Tuesday.

The first phase of the project has been completed at a cost of about four hundred million rupees.

Speaking on the occasion, the second phase of the project will be completed by June next year at a cost of over four hundred and ninety four million rupees.

He directed to set up technical and educational centers at the jail premises for training of prisoners to make them responsible citizens.
