In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has condemned the Narendra Modi-led government for resorting to repressive measures and illegal ban on Hurriyat organizations.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the APHC in a statement issued in Srinagar said the Modi regime’s latest nefarious action of banning the Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League is another act of brazen terrorism.
It said banning the peace and freedom-loving organizations or attaching properties linked to them cannot intimidate the Kashmiris into submission.
The APHC appealed the international community to take cognizance of India’s brutal measures in IIOJ&K and force New Delhi to settle the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations.
Meanwhile, the residents of Bafliaz and Topa Pir villages in Poonch district continued to seethe with anger and fear days after deaths of three villagers in Indian troops’ custody.
Indian troops arrested several youth during cordon and search operations in Baramulla, Poonch and Rajouri districts.
The troops dubbed the youth as members of mujahid organizations to justify their illegal arrest.
Complete shutdown was also observed in Katra area of Reasi district against the anti-people policies of the authorities.
Shopkeepers also held a protest rally in the town.
