Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan Engineer Amir Muqam says India is committing human rights violations in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad today, he said ninety six thousand Kashmiris have been martyred since 1989 due to continued Indian atrocities in the occupied valley.

He said thousands of Kashmiris including top Hurriyat leadership have been illegally imprisoned in Indian jails.

The Minister urged the United Nations to play role for the implementation of its resolutions regarding plebiscite in IIOJ&K.
