Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed has been unanimously elected as Vice President of the Committee of Human Rights for Parliamentarians of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Geneva.

Senator Mushahid Hussain who represents Asia in the Committee is the first parliamentarian from Pakistan to be elected to a key body of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
