The State Bank of Pakistan has maintained a key interest rate at 22 per cent.

This was announced by Governor State Bank Jameel Ahmed while addressing a press conference in Karachi today.

The governor informed that the improvement in the external account reflects the increase in foreign exchange reserves of the country.

He further said that inflation is still high but it will decline from March.
