The leader of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees Philippe Lazzarini has said that Israel’s impending ban on the agency is harming the lives and future of Palestinians.

In a statement, he said this action will undermine the Gaza ceasefire agreement as it is jeopardising any prospect for peace and security.

More than 370,000 Palestinians have returned to northern Gaza since Monday.

Meanwhile, Israeli strikes have wounded 24 people in south Lebanon.
